Critical Receipt Parasite

The Critical Receipt Parasite (CRP) is a critical design object meant to be connected between a receipt printer and a register computer. By utilizing the CRP, the length of the printed receipt can be manipulated. Specifically, the distance between the product’s origin and the place of purchase is mapped to the length of the receipt. This allows customers to gain immediate awareness of the distance their product had to travel before they made their purchase.
